Make your own pose stand

Pose stands.  Yes we all have them.  Most of us use them.  But I've been annoyed by the majority.
So I decided to make my own.  It took maybe 3 minutes and another 3minutes to modify the script/code.

Maybe a reader will find it useful.  So here it is..

My favorite pose stand has always been the TMT Professional Pose Stand because 1. It's free, and 2. It's a professional quality product.  Get it here (https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/TMT-Professional-Pose-Stand/1265232)

But it's WYSIWYG, sometimes you just want to use your own poses.

So.. I took a tutorial from http://sl4nowt.wordpress.com/2009/07/26/tutorial-making-your-own-pose-stand/  but the pose stand script itself was limited to just a boring old default, Vitruvian pose, so I modified the script to add in a 12 blue dialog box menu popup merging free code from http://www.freeslscripts.gendersquare.org/index.php?view=article&id=111.  I think that's enough.  If you wanted to you could expand the code easily for more menu choices.

How to Make a Pose Stand
(taken right from http://sl4nowt.wordpress.com/2009/07/26/tutorial-making-your-own-pose-stand/ .. visit it, there are pictures there too)

1. Rez a prim cube (right click on the floor, choose Create)
2. Edit the cube to make the X = 1.00 Y = 1.00  Z = 0.05 (you can adjust these to taste)
3. Edit the cube again and set the Tapers to X = 0.15 and Y = 0.15
4. Edit the cube's texture and add in whatever texture you want.
5. Edit the cube's texture and Set the Mapping to Planar.
6. Edit the cube and Go to the Contents tab.  Create a new script.
7. Add the following code into the new script (click on the text area box, select all with Ctrl+A (or equivalent for your OS), Ctrl+C (or equivalent) to copy, then paste with Ctrl+V (or equivalent)  it into SL):

8. Now add up to 11 of your own poses and the script will find them.  What I did is extract the basics from the TMT Professional Pose.

Tada!  Done.  Now you have your very own pose stand with menu driven poses.
Just stand on the pose stand and click on it to get the Blue Dialog box with pose choices.
